Factory Arts North - 1125 Brookside Ave - is the scrappy, bohemian, beating heart of the Factory Arts district

FA North is a place where affordable spaces and a can-do spirit have attracted a diverse mix of up-and-coming and established artists, entrepreneurs, and nonprofit organizations. This former factory houses office, warehouse, fabrication, and retail space—plus studios for 125 artists, making FA North home to the largest community of working artists in Indianapolis. Visit on a First Friday for one of the best art walks in the city.

Because we house such a broad array of tenants, parts of the building are a little scruffy. We like to think it’s part of the appeal. Our bare-bones aesthetic is an authentic experience without the hipster gloss.
